Speggity is the at the top of the list. Speggity = spaghetti. I would have thought speggety would have been a better phonetic match for spaghetti. Now I have done that thing and said the word so many times, it has become meaningless.
A lovely little shopping list. 10 items written, most likely, by an older hand in a mixture of pen and pencil on a ring bound sheet of note paper.
- Speggity
- Sugar
- Trash bags
- Chips
- Vitimins
- Milk
- Pills
- Jam
- Peanut butter
- Butter

I reckon pillo might be pills. (All those years deciphering the handwriting of doctors finally pays off.)

Ah, an absolute essential edible to a health-conscious shopper…”Speggeti.” An item that may or not just be “speggeti” noodles alone or the intent to concoct a “speggeti” event. I’m surprised it wasn’t labeled as “Spasgetti” which is something you hear in many lunch rooms of younger spaghetti enthusiasts. I’d like to laugh more if it was just “sawce newdles.”
