Mouse Treats

Very nice neat handwriting here, lots of items fitted on a folded A5 spiral bound piece of paper.

Likely a mother of children at school age, with pets. Mouse treats, “kid’s” crisps/snacks, cookie dough, lollies.

Meat captured in a separate area of the list in large parenthesis. Chicken, prawns, muscles, bacon, ribs, sausages.

Orzo pasta suggests a cook in the house.

Choc Dig

White paper, 145mm x 100mm, cut with scissors. Staple torn from upper left indicates that this sheet was once not alone.

This person has a sweet tooth. Items include Choc Dig (what is dig?), custard cream biscuits, cake and ice cream.

After all the sweetness, this shopper was planning the main meal. Diced beef has been crossed out and replaced by chicken thighs, to be served maybe as a stew with vegetables and mashed potato.

Choc Twist

Choc Twist

Donated by a generous benefactor, this list has 11 items excluding mysterious line 8 which has been crossed out.  I believe it may say ‘ice cre’ but I may be mistaken.

I would suggest the list was written in three sections at different times.  Down to Evian is all capitalised, then comes the crossed off item in what looks to be lower case and then there is the third contribution in different pen.

This list is very Summery, you will not see these items listed in a few months time (unless you are in the southern hemisphere).

Kitchen Soap

This person is a crosser-offer, it seems all items were obtained bar the first two.

No vegetables on this shopping list but plenty of fruit.
The usual staples procured, bread, cheese, milk, eggs. Pizza and curry on the menu.

Male or female?

Toilet paper, tomato sauce, curry, milk, potatoes, fruit, bananas, apples, grapes, bread, ham, eggs, sausages, butter, ice creams, pizza, cream cheese, tena 40, kitchen soap, squash.

Compartments

Now, this is really interesting, not so much for the items but in the way they are presented. Here the list has be segmented into little boxes with what looks like similar items in each box. Does this represent a map of the supermarket aisles or is this how the food is stored at home?  Fridge items in one box, household in another etc.

Woo.

Sweet pot, peppers, coffee, cornflakes, liver, kidneys, chicken breasts, mince, morrison’s blades, soap, spray * bath, ariel colour, oust, sponges, grapes fruit, milk | cream, sour cream, coleslaw, taramasalata?, gruyere cheese, ham, choc lollies, scotch, gin, tonic.

Dog ham?

Makeup remover pads, gaviscon, crisps, egg fried rice x 2, chocolate, linguine, prawn crackers, Bombay potatoes, chicken, cereal bars, rolls, bread, white wine, eggs, yoghurts, cold meat, dog ham, orange juice, grated cheese, sausage rolls, chicken, cucumber, bananas, fruit, mushrooms, jackets, ice creams, garlic bread, chair, chocs for Ruth.

Note how Rob gets four of his own yoghurts and Ruth is going to get some chocolates.  12 eggs is rather a lot and what is dog ham?
